According to The Sun. Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in signing Charlie Cresswell.

Leeds United’s 19-year-old midfielder has been good so far this season, appearing in four Premier League games.

Premier League clubs Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in signing him due to his impressive play.

The teenager has committed to a long-term deal with the Whites. Who are said to be pleased to have him. But if Leeds are relegated from the Premier League. They may need to sell the centre-back to raise money.

The team of Marcelo Bielsa is now on a difficult run. Having lost three consecutive league games against Chelsea, Manchester City, and Arsenal. At the moment, they are 16th in the rankings after 18 games, having collected 16 points.

Cresswell’s major Premier League breakthrough.

Last season, Charlie Cresswell made his Whites debut after making rapid progress through the club’s development systems. Marcelo Bielsa gave him multiple opportunity to play for the first squad this season, and he demonstrated his abilities.

Despite the fact that his team lost 2-1 against West Ham United. The 19-year-old was complimented for his performance. Aside from that performance against Chelsea, he has made three additional Premier League substitute appearances.

The young defender was also selected for the Whites’ triumph over Fulham in the Carabao Cup in September. Richard Cresswell, a former Leeds United and Preston North End player, is the youngster’s father.

Charlie Cresswell earned his debut for the Whites last season after progressing through their youth ranks.  He showed his talents this season when he was given several first-team opportunities by Marcelo Bielsa. The 19-year-old started in the 2-1 loss against West Ham United and was praised for his display. 

He has made three more substitute appearances in the top-flight, with his latest outing coming in the match at Chelsea last month. 

The talented centre-back also made the team in the Whites’ Carabao Cup victory over Fulham in September. 

The youngster is the son of former footballer Richard Cresswell who played for Leeds and Preston North End in the early 2000s.
